One day, many people wake up and realise that simple things have become harder — getting up from a chair, walking upstairs, carrying shopping bags, keeping up with grandchildren.
At first, they push through it. Then they start adjusting. They take the lift instead of the stairs, cut the walk short, sit out activities they used to enjoy. They tell themselves it's fine.
It isn't.
Because something important starts to happen. The less you move, the harder it becomes to move. And the harder it becomes to move, the less you do. Until one day, the things you took for granted are simply gone.
Loss of strength and mobility doesn't just affect quality of life. It affects independence. It increases the risk of falls, fractures and serious injury. It is one of the leading reasons people lose the ability to live life on their own terms.
This is not inevitable. But it does require action.
Hi, I'm Vitaly. Over the years, I've worked with hundreds of people of different ages, backgrounds and fitness levels. I've seen people in their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond become stronger, move better, regain confidence and dramatically improve their quality of life through proper training.
I've also seen what happens when people wait too long — a fall, a fracture, a loss of independence that didn't have to happen.
I created "Move Better. Age Better" because I believe that story doesn't have to be yours.
Not to turn people into athletes. Not to make them do intense workouts. But to help them keep doing the things that matter most — playing with grandchildren, travelling confidently, going for long walks, gardening, carrying shopping bags, getting off the floor without assistance, living independently for as long as possible.
Because that's what real fitness is.
The goal isn't simply to add years to your life. It's to add life to your years.
Every session is designed to help you stay active, capable and independent. We focus on improving:
✔ Strength for everyday activities
✔ Balance and stability
✔ Mobility and flexibility
✔ Confidence in movement
✔ Stronger bones and joints
✔ Energy and overall wellbeing
Everything is adjusted to your current ability, fitness level and comfort. Whether you're 55, 65, 75 or beyond, we'll meet you exactly where you are. No experience required. No pressure to keep up. No intimidating environment.
When Chantal and her husband were looking for something different in their middle years, they found more than just a place to exercise.
"Since starting strength and mobility training at CrossFit Martell, we have loved the great coaching, functional workouts and welcoming atmosphere. We keep going back for more."
After only four weeks of personal training, Alex shared:
"Professional, knowledgeable coaching with a focus on realistic and healthy progress. After just 4 weeks, I saw significant progress towards my goals."
And Tina's story is one that stays with me:
"CrossFit Martell changed my life. In just 2.5 years, I went from borderline osteoporosis to near-normal bone density. I couldn't be in better hands. If you're thinking about it, don't wait."
These are the results that matter most to us — not bigger lifts, not competition results.
A better quality of life.
Sometimes it's not the parent reading this page. It's the son or daughter who has started noticing changes — Mum holding onto railings more often, Dad no longer enjoying the walks he used to love, simple daily tasks taking more effort.
They say they're fine.
But you can see things are changing.
Maybe you're worried about a future fall. Maybe you're concerned about their strength, balance or independence. If that's you, you're not alone.
Many families wait until something happens before taking action — a fall, a hospital visit, a sudden loss of independence.
We believe it's better to stay ahead of the problem.
Helping someone maintain their strength, balance and confidence today can make a huge difference to their quality of life tomorrow — and for years to come.
